You forgot to put in a color for those who support the recall effort, but are too intimidated to sign the petition (more people than you would believe fall into this category!)
Anonymous, your comment brings up a range of sentiment. I was trying to keep it light, and so the categories were "yes" or "no," not "signed," "won't sign," and "too scared to sign." But I get it. And, at the same time, I think if there are THAT many people living in fear of Mack-retribution, you should just sign. Is life going to be so much better for you if that little man stays in office? No. And chances are, he'll get pissed off at you, anyway, for just KNOWING about the recall effort, or some other stupid thing, because he's a small-minded dummy. Not signing isn't going to save your job. And, there are some of us who very publicly support the recall effort. Our names, faces, and addresses are out there. If we can do it, so can you. We'll definitely make the goal if people in the "support but too afraid to sign" camp just signed. No one sees those petitions -- NO ONE -- until they're counted and verified. If we don't meet our goal, they're getting torched. Mack will never have any hard evidence that you signed. But, I also understand how difficult, confusing, and demoralizing it can be to work for a petty tyrant. I think we all do. That's just one of the reasons we're attempting to recall him in the first place. I hope we make it.
